Hi. Welcome to the brand new Oxon and Bucks Cycle Sportive website in support of the Children’s Brain Tumour Foundation.
We’re so excited to finally have the 2013 site up and running, we can now push ahead with getting as many people to register to take part in this year’s event.
We have 2 Cycle Sportives running this year, The first at Stowe School and the secound at Ashfold School. Over the coming weeks and months we intend to keep you updated with all the developments, new sponsors, race news and information you will need to get the most out of our Sportive.
Please register for our fantastic event, as 90% of your entry fee will go directly to the charity.
Many thanks
Cheryl

Great website. Get your mates entered for a good challenge…..and guys try not to be chicked!
This is a very worthwhile cause and the people who have organised this have put a lot of effort in, so we owe it to them to make it successful. Enter it now..see if you can overtake me…look for the girl with the Union Jack on my back !
Hi Guys
Almost there, just two weeks to go and we are on the final preparations! Let’s have a last attempt to get more people signed up. Rally your friends for this good cause.
Looking forward to Sunday, sure all your hard work will be worth it!!
Just completed this event. Really great, well organised, challenging and interesting course, good turn out. Also so much better value for money than many current events not to mention the most important fact, that 90% of the entry fee goes directly to such a great cause. All in all a Win-win, just a shame I didn’t!
Just a short note on behalf of Bicester Millennium Cycling Club to say thank you to all those involved in organising such a good sportive.
Great event, well organized and for a worthy cause – thank you very much – had a great time !
Very impressed, very well organised.
I helped out with the marshalling this time, but I want to have a go myself next year. I’ve already started putting a team together, so can’t wait!
Thanks to all for a well organised event. The route was firm but fair with no tricks and the signage, especially the miles covered, was excellent. I also think all helpers, both on the route and at HQ, were entheusiastic and welcoming so a big thank you to them for making this a great event to ride in. Roll on next year ??
Thanks very much for a great event. It seemed to run really smoothly and I think it would be safe to say many will return if you run it again next year. Personally I enjoyed it more than some of the bigger and more established events. Thanks again.
I would also like to say thanks and well done to all the organizers! Also I was wondering if and where the times for the ride will be published, I’m keen to see how I did against the rest of you guys!
Great event, really well run, will definitely ride it again next year!
To the poster above, you can see the results here > http://www.stuweb.co.uk/event/1279
Guys what an amazing event. It was blessed with good directions, race briefing was clear, route was inspired and the ending with a cup of tea and sausage in a bun was just what I needed. Well done to all those that organised I’m already looking forward to the next one . Keep them rolling!
Fantastic day, brilliantly organised, very well sign-posted! Thoroughly enjoyed the day, and proud to have contributed to an amazing cause! Can’t wait until the next one!
What a great ride. The route was largely on minor roads, well signposted, well marshaled and lovely rolling terrain. Everyone helping at the start/ finish line and the feed stops smiled from start to finish and made the whole experience a joy. Many thanks & see you next year!!
why has my time not been put up 474 is my number gutted if its lost as this is what i have worked for all year!!
good day and well signed but lost my time?

Thanks
Cheryl
Three of us took part this year for the first time and it appears we have all been disqualified or did not finish however we all finished the 40 mile in under 3 hours is there a reason we did have a time recorded?
Hi Lizzie, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The timing system people had a total failure with their equipement on the day and we have been trying to rectify the problem. I thought we had everyone sorted now, but I will go back to StuWeb Timing and check with them.
